Are there any dvd/cd writing applications? I’m travelling and would love to back up pictures to DVD even if it takes overnight.

Well your not the first to ask. I have not really attempted this, maybe xcdcroast? The modules are all done to read cd/dvd media, but no burner yet..

I would not expect anything soon, :(

It looks like you’re using a mouse?
Are you using a bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo?

dear Penguinbait,
I’m Juri, from Italy.
I got a n810 and looking for costomizing my interface to make the Nokia much more user friendly and windows expereincing.

I’m not interessed in compiling apps for linux or in looking for new ways to hack my system, I just want to have my loved N810 with a more user friendly interface and with more available apps to install.
I’m a graphic designer, I sa on kde.org a lot of interesting apps like pixels or kad, should I install most of KDE on my 810 with KDe os installed?
Is KDE a write choise for my requests?

can I find a different way to have a better desktop experience and much more useful apps to install?
